Being a PC gamer, I see alot of different ways to communicate with teammates online in real time in game. I am wondering if this might be a good direction for CP to go.
There is a program called Teamspeak. It has a server and client freeware version. It is set up as a direct two-way connection. It is as clear a phone line and quite user friendly. It reguires a mic and speakers. The chat about stogies can be done in real time and in real voice.
It requires a server to be set up for the connection to work. A dedicated server is the best way. There is a server admin interface that is reasonably user-friendly and it allows for a permission based sign up allowing for unregistered members limiyed access and registered members full accesss. You can set passwords to a set room.
