New Club

Stopped at my new "club" the Elks Lodge on Ladue Rd. They allow cigar smoking inside and its close to home. Surrounded by a very nice neighborhood in the suburbs. The neighborhood grew around it. Pool and beach volleyball with $2.00 beers and $4.00 mixed drinks with decent whiskey (1792, Knob Creek etc). At $175 per year it's not too bad.

That's a very fair yearly fee, near me they want $1 K for a year and double the price for drinks.

Sort of like a Sportsman's Club in say Freeburg, Il, or something like replacing the sportsman's stuff with pool and volleyball etc.

Wish they had one of these in my neck of the woods. In CA they probably would not allow smoking though.

Great price. I thought the Pendergast Club for $500/yr here in KC was a good deal.
