New guy - question on storage

Just got into smoking premium cigars a few months back, have a question on storage. How long will my cigars keep in a tupperware style food container with only some of those humidi-packs thrown in there? I understand there's no definitive answer, just looking for estimates. Up til now, I've just been buying what I'm going to smoke within 2-3 days and leave them in a ziplok.

So basically I could just keep replacing the Humi-packs once a month and I'm good right?

Absolutely.

Just figure out what humidity you like, if this is going to be your only means of storage. They have 65, 69, 72, and I think even 75%. I use 65 and 69 depending on the smokes.

If you don't smoke too often, just open the container once every week to a month max, to allow some air transfer.

My opinion on Humidipaks in wooden humidors is that they don't work great, and you need a lot, with more frequent changes. Beads would be a better bet in that set up.
