(The irony of me posting about a logo look on CP is not lost on me... ;) )

Which logo variant to you like the best:

We're currently working on renovating the brand of my company. We want to unify the look of the company to match our embossed business cards.

The old logo is very bold -- perhaps bordering on "busy" with no real place for your eye to rest. The new logo is much more subtle, and would require changing how we used it as a design element due to its low contrast. We plan on using it as a watermark or embossing, rather than considering it a focal point.

I'm looking for thoughts from outsiders on the new look, because at times we're too close to it to be good judges.

The one on the left is more appealing to me. Though I would change a few things... I work in graphic design and photography on a part-time, side job basis... PM me if I can be of service in any way.

I vote for the one on the left.

They're both very good works of art, just the one on the right has so much in it I find myself squinting just because of everything going on. Maybes its the red doing it to me - I don't know.

Definitely go for the all white one though!

I like the one on the left. If you are aiming for a less busy logo that is easier to look at the oone on the left fits that, in fact I like the one on the left a lot

Another vote for the logo on the left. I think it is classy and a bit understated which would look great as a watermark or for embossing. The one on the right is a bit busy and hard to focus on.

The one on the right Moki, no question.

Scratch that, for business purposes, the one on the right. Cory's dead-on. The red and white has an angry touch to it.

I like the one on the left better as well. It's not only more classic, but also more classy IMO. Plus, the one on the right is damn hard to see. The left one is much cleaner and crisper.

The one on the left. Without question.
However, I'd lose the scrolled looking blanket thingee to the right. It is distracting and adds little, IMHO.

I'd go with the left. Right seems too busy. The left would look sweet with embossing, film lam, spot uv's and watermarking.

I like the one on the left and it looks really good on the cards. Isn't the one on the right the traditional Ambrosia logo of days past?
