Blazer has redesigned their PB207 lighter to be more wind resistant and other improvements. This is an excellent lighter in the first place and the improvements will just make it better. It will be available from Blazer in mid November and I have added this lighter and the Blazer Zippo insert to my website if you are interested.

My brother has been using the same Blazer for at least two years that I know of,maybe more, and I've been using mine for about a year, never a problem. Great torches!!

Are you going to carry the Blazer butane refill's? That stuff is hard to find, and when you do find it, it's about $7.00 a can. If you stock it, I'll buy it.

Why don't you put the website in your sig?

That Z-plus insert thing is pretty cool.

You ever seen one of the ones that turns a regular disposable lighter into a torch? There's a thread here:

http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/index.php?...=15762&hl=torch

There's another product that if you carried, I'd buy it.

Love my 'upgraded' Zippo, that Blazer insert is a great thing.

Same here. Maybe after 2 or 3 days I have to refill it. I bought this lighter LINK for $8 and it lasts forever, has a fuel window, holds a ton of butane and you could weld like MacGuyver if need be. I go about a week or 2 without a refill.

I don't recall exactly how long I have had my PB207 but can tell you its many years..... at least 4 maybe 5. It is one of the best as far as reliability goes. I also have their GB2001 model that I use at home which has worked flawlessly for me. Great lighters if you're not looking for bling bling.

I had read somewhere that Prince is the parent company that actually produces the PB207 and markets it under the blazzer name. Apparently they also market it under the Prince name that you can find on this page HERE Scroll down to find the Prince PB207 and you will see its a bit cheaper. Some people on another board did some research and said that if there is a difference in the lighters they sure couldn't find it. They were positive that its the exact same lighter.

You can also find the Blazzer PB207 HERE but you must factor in shipping costs. I think that place requires a $50 min order to not get dinged with a hefty processing charge. I've ordered from here before but would only do it again if I had a $100 order which is when shipping becomes free. Of course if a couple of people wanted to do a GB they sure have some good pricing on torches. The GB2001 is the cats meow but of course is not a pocket torch.

I would suspect that these are not the "new and improved" models that are touted in the original post to be released in Nov so the higher cost may be worth it to those that need improvement lighting in the wind.

Yes, but all of the "Tool Warehouse" type places say the Blazer is "Not available to the general public". I thought that the new "CR" designation relased in November was basically Child Resistant, so that it could be sold to anyone in the good old US of A.

You are correct. Blazer would not sell them unless you were in an industrial type setting. They have corrected that with the CR "Child Resistant" model. Now they are available to anyone. That is why the only way a cigar smoker could get one i through offshore vendors like "NextCigar" (Hong Kong).

The first time I tried to add them to my website they would not sell them to me unless I guaranteed I would only sell to industrial businesses, since I was unwilling to lie to the company they would not sell to me.
