These are from just a few moments ago. Going to make an investment on a new site that is going to plunk your magic twanger froggy. Hope you like it. South TX hill country is getting slammed; over 20" of rain and more coming. Bad flooding, road closures etc.

About 0500-0600 here we had a SERIOUS thunder and lightning storm. Freaked three of the dogs out bad. Surprisingly not a lot of rain, but WOW did we get some thunder...!!

Lucky you! Wish we got more thunderstorms. I'll trade you some earthquakes for some storms. :D

You guys have been getting earthquakes pretty regular down south recently. I'm surprised they haven't reached the Bay Area yet.

Lots of movement lately. Apparently the San Andreas and the San Jacinto fault lines are under so much pressure that they are "locked" in place against each other. This area is called an "earthquake gate". Well, I'm only miles south of it; it's just on the other side of the mountain. Lots of action on the Ring of Fire lately.

I don't need that much excitement in my life at my age. Nor do I want anyone else to endure what might follow. And then there is Cascadia fault and of course Yellowstone. The entire west coast is a mess.
