Just finding out about a new Members Only cigar lounge opening in the Inland Impire. Just down the street from my house..

Looks like the bomb! Went out driving around today trying to find the place and drew a blank. I'll call tommorow and get more information. See if I can go down and check the place out.
I'll be sure to turn them onto CP and give them contact info when I talk to them. Look for them to be popping in soon posting on events and such that they will be sure to be having throughout the year.

Can You Say Party!! :D

Found it!

Two words to describe the place. Class Act!

Bottom line in any good business venture. Pick the market base your after and go for it. First tenant of the scripture after this. Location, Location, Location!
They’ve done this by placing there location in the upper scale outdoor mall located down the way from the upper crust of society on the hill. High end housing located on the south side of Corona off the I-15 freeway. The Corona Crossing’s Mall off of Cajalico.
They have the lounge split from the back. Effectively keeping the feel of a high end cigar shop at the front. And the private lounge in the back. The Manager of the cigar shop up front, called “Azucar,” showed me around the place.

Very nice indeed! Selection was very good. From what Stephan, the manager said. They have about 35% of the stock they plan on having come in from the order they placed at the RTDA. Right now they have a full line of Tats along with the Padron line. Padron 1964 Anniversary and the Padron Serie 1926 etc. This along with quite a few other high end sticks. La Aurora Preferido, La Flor Dominican etc etc. Selection and pricing of the cigars was fair.
Nice to see a high end shop like this. Sure does bring up the image of cigar shops that have been getting tarnished by most of the little hole in the wall places around here as of late. Way out of this blue collar workers league. In regards to there membership fees to join the fun in the back room. A good ole boy like me, just cant afford the prices there asking for a membership to join there little fun club. This by no means implies that they wont fill the house. There are plenty of folks in the area that fill there target market.
So if your in the market for a good cigar and live in the area. Like I said the prices on the sticks are fair by California standards.. Not the cheapest I’ve seen but for what there offering in quality. There pricing themselves respectavly to keep the walk in customers coming in.
If the owner O.K's it I should have some pictures up by middle of next week...

See Ya!

Thanks for the plug Botl43. I really hope you continue to enjoy yourself in our shop. Please introduce yourself to me the next time your'e there and I'll buy you a smoke.

StinkiMonki (but ask for Geoff)

Corona, almost sounds like it would be closer to me than my current lounge Red Cloud, but it takes just as long if not longer to get to south corona, especially depending on time of day.

I'd like some info on the membership rates.

Hey Geoff,

Glad you could join us.. I promised the guys I would post some pictures on your new place.. Stephen just sent me these posted on myspace...(you need a myspace account to see them.) Should do the trick.. Tell him to post an intro and join the group if he hasn't already..
I'll be down tommorow early afternoon, check you guys out. See what else you might have in from your opening order and trip to the RTDA.

The front of the place is open to the public and walk in traffic. Separate and in the back, is the membership only lounge.

Hope to see you down there tomorrow and again welcome to the group.

Wow...I just looked at those pictures and it looks like a really nice place. Too bad it's a little over 80 miles from where I live. I would love to have something like that around here.

This place is very nice with the potential to be one of the nicest in all of so cal. I joined and look forward to future tobacco dinners. I only live about 10 minutes away and I don't get their nearly enough. Keep everyone posted as things progress.

Stinkimonki, nice website, place looks great. How about a second location in Alta Loma, Rancho or Upland?

Dude, I'd love to be there. I live in Alta Loma and have my law office there too. But when we were looking around, Corona really seemed like it was a good fit in the location we leased.
But who knows, I'd love to have a shop in the Victoria Gardens area. Something with a lounge, not just a cigar closet.
