Well ive finished my first 25 that i bought from fink cigar and im lookin for more! the ones i bought were a 25 sampler or low end sticks. they were not bad but now im looking for somwthing with a little more flavor. a little more quality. Can someone point me in a good direction? ive been looking at the price for quality and if i didnt have 9mo old twins i could afford haha. im looking for some moderatly priced quality sticks. the more the better. ive tried to contact the newb cigar trader but havent got a responce. id like to buy some soon at i only have 2 left :( i dont have a humi yet so i dont want something thats gonna go completely bad right away. im using tuperware right now. help please???

i am nervous to get a quality selection of cigars without havening a humi. I currently have a Tupperware box wit ha sponge in it that has some distilled water on it. i know this is not the best setup but the sticks i had were not great quality either. any suggestions?

Many of us started with Tupperdors, and use the search function to find more info on how to keep it ready for cigars.

You will get a much better selection of cigars using the Newbie sampler, though the Thompson deal isn't bad. Also, it is a great place to start on your reputation as a Brother of the Leaf. Patience my friend on the response to your PM. It will happn soon enough.

Also, CP has had many of our brothers and sisters donate cigars to the troops here and and here and other threads.

Don't worry about not having a humi, check this out http://www.cigarpass.com/forumsipb/index.php?showtopic=13217 i have one and 3 other desktop humi's, that shows you don't have to spend a lot of money to store them properly. Buy the sticks you like and search the fourms for any other suggestions from some of the FOGS, believe me they will help a lot but "search" first, I don't want to sound harsh because i am not, i am just trying to point you in the right direction.

Have fun here (i do) and so does everyone here, this is the best fourm i have joined.

As a newbie myself, I have done both. I had the same sampler from Thompson, which I thought was not bad. The newbie trade here on Cp was much better for value and selection. You will get the chance to express what taste you are looking for and size of cigar to get, which is a big plus.
You will get an answer, be patient, I know it was hard for me too!!!

If you dont hear from orange in a few more days, give me a PM. I can hook you up. I do have to follow the line though, so I cannot help you as of today. Some members dont have the time to check Cp on the weekends, so he may contact you tomorrow or the next day. Be patient, it'll be worth your while, THATS FOR SURE!

In addition to the inexpensive tupper/cooler - dors, you can also try out the Devil's Site and check out some of their merch offerings. There are usually some 20-50 count humidors with logos that manufacturers use as promo fodder that can be had for very cheap.

For your humidification, I am very surprised that Viper's Beads haven't been suggested yet. Very inexpensive, useful, and durable.

Just put some Heartfelt bead tubes in your Tupperware Box, and you will have reliable storage for your cigars. You might want to keep loose cigars in cigar/spanish cedar boxes though. Still, cheap and effective mate.

Don't stress.

Edited to add: Viper Beads = Heartfelt Beads. Really the last word in reliable humidification.
