Newbie Question

[Cigar Hound]

This may be a stupid question. But, I'm going to ask anyway. I seem to be missing something when trying to upload a picture from my computer to my profile. It keeps telling me there is an error in the upload. I have scaled the size down to less than 100kb, and tried adjusting the size to less than 250 x 250 pixels. What else might be causing this. Thanks in advance for your help.

It is a jpeg file. What is the proper format?

I just checked mine. I used a url from "photobucket" to upload from, and the first line for URL, rather than the "Browse", and never had a problem.

I also link to my picture from a different server. I've never tried uploading to CigarPass.

Maybe you could try changing the extension from .jpeg to .jpg

Other than that, I couldn't tell ya.

Rod has this feature turned off to keep from using up too much space on the server... link it to a pic hosting site.
