Newbie Sampler Trade - Part III

Is this still active?
I got the best cigars in my humidor from theorangeman just a couple months ago. Highly recommend giving it a go. Once I smoke up some of my inventory, I will be up for another ride (I think you can do it twice) lol.

Edit to say: the recommendation to try it is to other newbs obviously, lol. Its early and my fingers are moving faster than my brain,

Makes me so happy to see this project I originally started on this board more than 20 years ago is still going strong. I must have sent dozens of samplers while managing the NST threads way back when. Had so much fun.

For any noobs considering participating here you will not be disappointed. You will be hard pressed to find a better sampler than you will find from the generous fogs in the rotation here.

For all those that kept this thing going - bravo!

Read the first post.

NEWBIES - Please post here and PM the FOG listed as "(Now Up!)" when you'd like to make a trade (minimum trade value is $50). It makes tracking who goes to which FOG a lot easier. Also, please read the first post in this thread otherwise you'll be ignored. FOGS - please keep us updated directly on the status of your trades.

1. Drunkfish3 (up)
2 CgarDan (on deck)

Note* Names are linked to member profiles, this will make for easier PM'ing

Thank you, sir! You’re a scholar and a good judge of women and fine whisky, I’m sure! 😎 🚬

Can’t wait!

This place is awesome!

I
Am
Gobsmacked! 😍

I haven’t catalogued them yet, I put them in a tupperdore to rest from their trip for 2 weeks, but what a selection! Of the bunch, I’ve had maybe three? And I’m a semi-experienced smoker so this did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do—expand my experience with stuff I’m unfamiliar with.

Mr. Carson, you, sir, are a mensch! Thank you so much! This thread is such a good idea! Can’t thank you all enough. Especially you guys who step up for this duty.

Edited to remove details,

Sent to @ilikefishes in a PM

PM sent to @ilikefishes “This selection makes me feel like I need to buy some velvet slippers and a brocade smoking jacket (and maybe a Fez) to truly honor the experience.”

Hmmm. Good point @rbbrock. Don’t need a special occasion for anny cigar and I can enjoy it without the slippers and smoking jacket. Two weekends from now, in the gazebo with some Balvenie Doublewood. It shall be done.

That Balvenie was a staple of mine - great stuff!

Also, I need to take my own advice. I'm going to bust out a couple good'uns this weekend myself!

ETA: Sounds like there's still plenty of time to order those slippers and fez! :p
