Newbie Sampler Trade - Part III

NEWBIES - Please post here and PM the FOG listed as "(Now Up!)" when you'd like to make a trade (minimum trade value is $50). It makes tracking who goes to which FOG a lot easier. Also, please read the first post in this thread otherwise you'll be ignored. FOGS - please keep us updated directly on the status of your trades.

BOTL, I bought a very nice sampler from niko that includes a ton of great stuff, but I have since shifted my focus entirely to CC's. All have been properly stored at 65* and 65RH. Is there any interest in me passing this along to the next newbie that would like a $150/sampler? No worries if not, thought it was worth asking!
 
You just bought these in May, and you want to sell them? I don't know if this is the right place to sell them, you might want to post an offer and list the actual cigars you are selling in the proper forum.

I think this would be best. There are proper ways to do these types of things on this community, and I am just trying to lead you down a different path. I am sure someone else will chime in on the matter.
 
no worries. I've just bought a ton of CC boxes and that's my focus, so figured i'd pass on the same favor I got before. all good, i'll move on.
 
Not to mention now that I look at your profile you haven't even waited the requisite 4 months that is required.

My suggestion is you try the sticks he sent you. I am quite positive they won't disappoint you and hey, in the long run you are going to save some money.

If you really want to get into CC's I would recommend getting your toes wet first or you are going to go broke. Do your research.
 
my intent was to pass on the same kind gesture that I received..the sticks are no longer available, happy to keep them.

your suggestion to do research is good advice - everyone should research before making any purchases. your high horse comment regarding me going broke off cigars, cuban or not, is off base. i'll go relax and have a smoke now, enjoy your evening!
 
Guys, let's stop this back and forth. It's not the forum for it. 1morevice, please understand that this is for newbies who are new to cigars and want to test a wide variety to see what they like. If you only wanted CC's this was not the trade for you. Being that the transaction is done it is what it is.

No matter if you want to accept it or not, you're a newb. Doesn't matter how long you've been smoking or what kind of cigars are in your stash. There's a section on CP that points this very thing out. I think I understand what you wanted to do, but maybe a trade or sale offer in the appropriate section and You offering to send your end first would fly. Before you do so, I believe you still have to get such a post approved by Rod. Calling senior membership's posts dumb isn't the right way to do things.
