NFL season is around the corner...I am looking forward to the season. Without Hockey it was kind of tough.

Anyhow, I just wanted to share my excitement about the upcoming season. I was enjoying an after lunch gar with a friend going over the rookies and other teams in the division.

I hope my Chargers could be as good again. Around here we get a good team once in 10 seasons. I hope this is the year for us to make it to the big show and win. However, deep down I know Marty Ball will come back and burn us again and again and again... :(

Anyhow, how many of you guys have a cigar during the game on the tube? I am planning to watch couple of games over at Liberty Tobacco here in San Diego. They have nice HD big screen there; Like to hear about your teams and why they are good.

Well you may get a good team once in ten years but my team hasn't been good since the 80's. Well there was that fluke in 2001 or 2002 where they went 13-3 but lost in the first round of the playoffs. I am talking of course about DA BEARS. We need a QB somethin awful. Lovie will turn it around though, give him time.

My second favorite team is anybody who beats the Cowgirls. Er....Cowboys. :sign:
 
I've been saying it for years. I have 2 favorite teams:

1. Redskins! :thumbs:

2. Anybody playing the Cowboys... :D

Vikes training camp is a short walk from my house if anyone's interested.

I suppose I'll head down sometime this week and check it out, see what all the fuss is about.

:laugh: I've been saying the same thing minus Redskins and add Vikings. :laugh:

I am looking forward to watching the Browns this year. Their team did not get much better in the off season. That does not matter to me though.

I honestly believe that every time I watch one of their games they have a chance to win. Then usually after a couple of plays, that all goes away. :(

If there are any other Browns fans out there, let me know. I hate being alone. :whistling:

Da Bucs. Been a fan since I was a wee one and the granparents took me to see em. It is amazing how many QB's da Bucs had that were actually really good QB's after they left Tampa.

I have a brother-in-law who is a huge Eagles fan and my brother and me snuck over to his house at halftime of the superbowl and wrote all over his SUV with soap. "I love Tom Brady","GO PATRIOTS", etc. all kinds of stuff. It was hilarious. I dodged him for about two weeks after that.
