Cigar Ambassador
Hey all,
The fiance is bringing me up to North Conway, NH for a nice birthday weeeknd this weekend. I'm thrilled, and I love the area, but one big problem...I've got a Padron 40th and a certain special ISOM just waiting for my birthday, but I can not seem to find anyplace that will allow me to smoke a cigar inside. There is one place , villagecigar, where I can smoke and have a beer, wine, or port, but I already spoke to them, and they would prefer me not smoke anything there I didn't buy there.
What do you folks think of this as far as etiquette...go in, buy a pricey stick ($12-15, maybe?) as my way of being a good customer, but then smoking the cigar I brought?
I know my local B&M, who I consider a friend, was always a little weird about anybody smoking anything that they didn't buy there in the shop. That included some guys who gave him a TON of business. he wouldn't throw you out, but he made it VERY clear he didn't like it.
Edit: Anybody know of anyplace else in/around the area that allows cigar smoking?
I hate being rude, and at the same time, I REALLY want to smoke my birthday cigars.
Any advice from you fine BOTLs would be greatly appreciated.
