Notifications

When I access my notifications, I get a message that says I don't have permission to access them and then says something about not able to determine what message I wanted.

Is there a life time for notifications?

After playing a little longer, I have found if I open the notifications window to "show all Notifications" then the appropriate notifications show up when clicked.
