Anyone get Battlefield 2 yet? I highly recommend it to all who enjoy FPS and military type FPS (ya, i know i am a geek). I have my copy and been playing like a mad man, it is a great looking pc. of software, and be fore warned, it is a system hog. Anyone who has it, please let me know, i would like to play with some BOTL's, hey, that sounds like a good gaming clan...the BOTL's.Hmmmm...

Still busy with Doom3 and Half Life 2. My wife recently discovered Unreal Tournament 2004 and we now LAN game almost every night rather than sit in front of the tube. Both our PC's are in the same part of house so we are in the same room; pretty cool playing on the same "team" and running the maps.....

LoL Rob, the BOTL's, that would be nice :love:

Right now I'm busy with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory on my PC. This game has some of the best atmosphere and music I've stumbled upon in a game. I have tried BF2, and it looks like a game that would take too much of one's free time My computer isn't that up-to-date, so I would have to tune down the details quite a lot to get a smooth gaming experience. After my military service I might have time to learn BF2, but most likely I won't

I did not like Doom 3 for the most common reasons (too dark, monsters attacking from behind every corner, blah). I finished HL2 pretty quickly. I liked it a lot.

Well now that we're on the subject of videogames, what else have you guys played? I play a free online 2D spaceship game called Continuum (yeah, it sounds really crappy, but it's not!). I've been active in it for about 7 years now. These days mostly chatting with people I have known for years in it. Also one of my alltime favorites is the Baldur's Gate series. I also enjoyed Hitman a lot.

Got the demo of BF2, but too busy with Swat4 and IL2 Sturmovik. Demo looks good tho, although alot of the same game with some needed improvements. We (my game playing buddies) had BF1942 but got tired of the take this base... lose this base... take this base back... and so on. If you want a challange, get Swat4 and play the game thru with non-lethal weapons... tough to do! But there is just something very satisfing about zapping a guy with an AK-47 with your Tazer and watching him quiver helplessly! And Swat4 is a game where you HAVE to work as a team... no way you can make it by running and gunning alone.
