Odd Smoking Laws

I am currently in Kyoto, Japan for the next few days. Here smoking outside is frowned upon, but inside it is fine. What other odd smoking laws have you guys seen?

Yard House in Long Beach, CA allows for smoking of cigarette's on the patio, but there is a sign that disallows cigars.

The Havana Garage in Omaha allows cigar smoking inside and on the patio, but cigarette smoking is not allowed within 15 feet of the building.

That is refreshing.  I have been many places where cigs are ok but cigars are not.  Nice to hear of the opposite position being the "law".

A pipe smoking friend of mine was in a tobacco shop on the east coast and was told that he was not allowed to smoke his pipe inside the shop because the pipe smoke ruined the paint on the walls.

When I was in Davis, CA I was told by the hotel concierge that smoking was not allowed at all within the city limits. But if I was walking I should be OK...
