Officer shot and Killed

Tonight an officer who was hired on with me was shot and killed at the Police Department I work for. Tonight is my night off so I was not working, but it definitely affects all of us. He leaves behind a wife and 5 kids. Also, someone murdered someone last night here in Fort Smith for riding a four wheeler in the neighborhood, and guys are robbing stores at gun point almost every night. What happened to the value on human life?

It's not right! We lost an officer who was shot and killed here in Oceanside recently. He was shot by a kid through the left arm and, missing his vest, into the chest cavity. He leaves behind a wife and a 2 month old. Not right, not right at all!

First of all I'd like to say how sorry I am. I bet this sure makes you think how it could have easily of been you. And, that I feel really bad, for his family.

I do not get people myself sometimes. To be able to take a life so easily. :(
 
Tragic. Dallas lost one of its finest today. A hero who had served in Iraq before serving the city of Dallas was shot and killed while apprehending a murder suspect.
 
Thanks for all who serve. Not only for our Country, but those that serve in our Country. My best friend is a Fire Fighter and it isn't always loosing one of your own that has tremendous impact. There was a fire in my home town that took the life of a 5yr girl. There is an assistant chief who is extremely shaken and struggling with it. Not only do those that serve face physical danger, they are also under amazing stress and trauma almost daily in some places.
