Oliva G Series

So today was a lovely day, and I decided I'd go outside and do some reading and finally smoke the Oliva I've wanted to. I smoke about 3/4, and couldn't take anymore. I had a wicked bad headache, and I thought I was going to be sick. It was a delicious cigar, but wow it packed a punch. That happen with anyone else?

You sure it was the G Series?

I find all of Oliva's offerings on the milder side, including the Serie V, but the G series is especially light-bodied.

Were you inhaling it? If so, that might be why... I don't advocate inhalation of cigars. Perhaps also you had a completely empty stomach?

I am a big fan of the Serie V. It's all ligero, but it's sooo smooth. The lancero I have had a couple of now have been very full flavored, but medium in strength from my perspective.

x2 - had one of these the other day, it was fantastic. Very flavorful but smooth.

I enjoyed a G today. Smooth, reasonably flavorful, but not too strong. Nice anytime smoke IMO.

That being said, I agree with others on the Vs, they are really good!

I could have been on an empty stomach...I've smoked worse cigars than that and been fine.

The little maddies have some body. Like the Robustos and Special G's for quickie smokes.

Smoked a maddie last night and it was nice. Good even burn and nice ash.
A bit on the leaving you dry side for me.
