Newbie first time review here. I lit up one of these cigars this evening & so enjoyed it I wanted to share.
The Oliva is a beautiful 6.5 inch 52 gauge torpedo. It has a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper with Nicaraguan filler & binder. The prelight draw was full of pepper. The pepper flavor is amazing. It reminds me of when I took a large bite of spicy of jerky. Very rich & smooth.
This continued for the first half of the cigar. The pepper then faded & was replaced with a dark coffee flavor. The pepper is still present, but not as strong as it was during the first half. There is a nice creamy finish. The ash, is very light & makes for a nice contrast with the wrapper. There is plenty of creamy smoke. Not one single burn issue.
Gentlemen, this is one helluva cigar. If you are able to find one (thx again Sportsdls), I suggest giving her a shot. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
