I smoked a Oliveros XL for Men tonight and it was very tight. The draw was tuff and I was worn out when finish. I saw an item in a catalog called a Draw Poker. It was a tool to run down the center of the cigar to open it up. Has anyone used one of these and what are your thoughts. I have several of the XL remaining and would like to try one without sucking my eye balls in.

Thanks,

Johnny

I have one and it's great for plugged smokes that you don't want to give up on.

Just make sure you keep it straight and slow. If you get it skewed, you'll poke right through the wrapper.

Save your money, and "borrow" 1 large paperclip from your job, friend, doctor's office, etc. Straighten it out, and it will work just fine.

Draw poker is a good tool, but you can make the same thing with a coat hanger or something yourself. They do work though. My experience is they never completely fix the issue, but they can make it smokable.

I found something at work that should be great. I work at a hospital and I am going to try an 18 gauge spinal needle. It is a little larger than a paper clip and a little smaller than a coat hanger. It is made from surgical steel, very smooth, and very sharp. I will give it a try the next time the draw seems tight.

Thanks guys,

Johnny
