I've purchased from Onecall a few time including a Sharp plasma and a Toshiba DLP and thier service it great. I don't even check around anymore. Also, they even do a referral program were they will send the person who referred you 1% of the sale.

I have the 42 inch Samsung DLP w/direct TV High Def and am more then happy wth the set up. The picture is unbelievable

A friend of mine recently bought a rear projector tv from them and had a horrible experience. It got damaged beyond repair during shipment, and it took them almost a year to finally make it right. I really don't know if I would buy a TV mail order. They are just too fragile to trust to the freight monkeys.

That sounds like a freight company issue more so than Onecall but too little information to understand what you are implying.

Sound advice given by many....shop it locally and weigh the difference advantages and disadvantages.

I'm not really implying anything...my friend got a rear projector horribly mangled during shipping. Then they were out of stock on that model, then finally after about a year, they had to give him the next model up (quite a bit more expensive) because the one he bought wasn't available. It was a big pain in the ass and if he had to do it again he would have just gone down to BB and bought the thing.

Lower contrast ratio meaning blacks arent as black and colors arent as rich.

Bought the 50" 5067W from BB today! Got them down low enough to make it worth while...very happy customer.
