Just to let folks know, my local guy here in Charlottesville just got in his pre-Father's Day shipment of Opus. So, be keeping an eye out on your local stores...they should be coming soon if they have not already.
 
FYI--Draper's in DC doesn't have their shipment in. I had to buy an LFD at way over what I'm getting them for from Atlantic to find out!

He got in 6 boxes (got 8 last time). He put out the Double Corona and Fuente Fuente today. Not sure what else he got - he waits until the first two boxes are sold then puts out 2 more. Limit of 2 of each/day and he charges about $2-4 over MSRP for many vitolas (Scot, correct me if I am wrong)...

Sounds like he has the same ranking with opus we do. 24 boxes a year. We used to get 3 shipments 8 boxes each. Now its 4 shipments 6 boxes each. Except im not sure how its gonna work since we didnt get this one.Maybe a double x-mas. That would be sweet.But for now ill just mope. :(
 
We received our Opus shipment yesterday.

I've already hinted to my kids what they can get me for Father's Day!
 
I called the shop in St. Paul that would have them, and they don't. In fact they were quite interested to find out who did, but said that usually differant markets will get their shipments at differant times.
 
Our other store here in C-Ville also got them yesterday but sold every box to Terry Bradshaw (as he has every time they have come in). :angry2:

i think your guy has the same rep i do.. hes taking over someone elses territory.
his territory was one of the ones who suffered the effects of cdf. because hes new on the block he takes low priority i guess.
 
Seems the east coast was not affected. Its just us lowly midwesterners that got the shaft. Would like reports from other parts of the country. Just to see how many boxes actually were sent this time around.
