When they get to carrying on at night, you know, calling back and forth to one another, and then all of a sudden go quiet, what happened?

Did they figure out where their buddies were and got up? Or did they go stealth and try to phuk with the other guy? Or maybe yet, it was just a “stay the phuk outta my side, or shots coming!”

I ain’t real sure, but they we’re makin noises tonight that we’re pretty dang funny. And then NOTHING! Hmmmmm!

Yup, having a cocktail by the new fire pit! Sumbitch is big enough to burn a body in, just sayin! And the owls and whipper wills are going bat shit crazy!

Note to self: Need thermal scope for coyote hunting!

Yeh I know what you mean. A couple of years ago I had three Barred Owles triangulated around the shelter I was trying to sleep in and I had never heard anything like it. They were definitely talking to one another and the calls were crazy! it was a very cool experience that I’ll never forget.
