Padilla 1948

Another great cigar from the team of Ernesto Padilla and Jose Pepin Garcia. The Padilla 1948 is produced in Little Havana, Miami by some of the finest rollers in the world. The production is very limited. Each cigar band is stamped with the batch number that the specific cigar came from. If you are a fan of the Padilla Miami or the Padilla 1932 you owe it to yourself to try this cigar. It is strong with subtle spiciness and is very flavorful without being overpowering.

I picked up a box, and I also picked up a box of the Series 68. Hope to do a review this weekend. :thumbs:
 
I have had the 48 and 68 and felt they didn't match up to the 1932. Not to say it's not a good cigar, it's just that I'm currently smoking as many 1932s as I can. I absolutely love the 1932 and I'm having a hard time finding anything I like as much, especially something new.

What sizes did you try/like the best. I love the 32's, will have to try these.

Damn, Dan! I wish I'd been working when you stopped in.

I smoked a 48 and liked it but wasn't wowed. We haven't priced the 68 in singles yet so I haven't tried it. Soon, I hope.

That's odd because Cigar.com(really CI) has the robustos for $108 vs $144 in the link.

I didn't check CI, though. One thing you'll find, though, is patience can often save quite a bit of money - that and the bros in the forums. ;)

The 68's are very mild. Just finished the 48 lancero, and it was pretty good. I'll wait a week or 2 to try the 68 again. I've been breaking in a new pipe this week (the night before and the day that I tried the 68) , so that might have been the problem.
 
I don't mind mild if the flavor is there. Did you like the flavor?
 
Truth is I haven't had any, I just copied the description from the vendor. I personally don't care for the 32's. There just something about that blend. I'm hoping the 48's & 68's will be different.
