g-smoke
Silent but deadly
Just when I thought either my newbie taste buds had taken a nose dive or my humidor was sabotaging my smokes, a gifted Padilla Miami 8/11 corona brought me back to life.
It's been a couple weeks since I've had a smoke that I enjoyed. Maybe it was the RP Sun Grown toros from Cbid that tasted like old straw that started me on a downward spiral, but I've been living in fear that maybe my new found taste for cigars was a fluke.
Then, tonight, I decided to fire up a Padilla Miami that came in a bomb a couple months back. Wow. What a delicious cigar. Not even the near-riot I saw between some dudes hanging out in a park and at least a dozen cars full of cops (ah, Brooklyn!) could take my mind of the great smoke in my hand on my evening walk...
So, is this the Pepin magic I experienced tonight? Are there any other similar cigars I should try, especially given the cost of these 8/11s?
Whoever you are that gave me this smoke, thank you.
