Padron 1926 or 1964

I will give you an obtuse answer:

Buy a box of 2000 Maduros, and age them for a couple of years. That will give you a cigar with a very similar profile to the '64 Maduro.

Then you will have extra pennies to get a bunch of '26.

OK, I'll stop being a dickhead. Why don't you find about 4 hrs, sit down and enjoy both of them. Then you can make your own educated guess and go from there. Many times asking other cigar smokers which cigars are best, you'll find that it really never answers your question.

Which do you enjoy more: redheads, blondes or brunettes?

ok thanks,I think im going with the 1964 first because i have a feeling that the 1926 will be better and i like to save the best for last.
 
The Anniversary '64 Maduros are close enough to the Serie '26 in flavor profile that you can ALMOST convince yourself the 26's aren't really worth the extra coin . . . until you smoke your next '26, that is! :rolleyes:

The '64 Naturals, especially the torpedos, are a special experience, though . . . just loaded with complex, subtle, ever-changing flavors from start to finish.

So, um, yeah, what was the question again? :D

Get 'em both. It's only money.

I love Padrons as much as the next guy, and like many of said I really do enjoy a 26, for a little less coin, and pretty close taste characteristics it's hard not to get a 64 for the coin issue for myself anyways. I prefer the maduros, yet to have a natural, can't imagine it being bad.

I do have them both, I just can't decide which one I should smoke first. Im smoking them both probally tomorrow. It's cold tonight,and tomorrow might be the last warm day for a while.
 
It's all subject to taste man. You'll have people side with the Anniversary line and others like myself side with the '26's (and yes, I can tell a big difference between the 2 lines). To me, when I get to sit down and really relax with a cigar, I want to enjoy it to the fullest and at that moment, I don't care what the pricetag was on that particular cigar. If there's one thing I've learned here is that you don't sit on a cigar and save it just because it cost a few more dollars than one you picked out to smoke. What happens (God forbid) if you never get that chance to smoke your "good" cigars?
