Padron Legacy at Holts

One of my buddies shocked me when he bought the Legacy sampler
while we were at Holts. He told me he smoked them all on New Year's
Eve and New Year's Day, saying, 'Padrons are pretty good'.

I'd ask him to offer up his opinion here, but he thinks REO, Vibe and
Cuban Bullets are pretty good smokes, too.

LOL

Chemyst

I'd bet after the holidays they become available in 5ers or boxes. But by then the hype will be through the roof, and so will Holt's prices. Then again, I could be dead wrong.

This is total BS. Holts is one place that has never charged over MSRP on ANY cigar. Everything they sell, even HTFs like Opus and Anejos, is priced at MSRP or lower.

The Padron Legacy's are only sold in a package. Holt's in not permitted to sell them separately. So in order to buy 1 Legacy, either natural or maduro, you must buy a package containing 4 other cigars. In typical fashion, Jorge Padron doesn't say what exactly the make up of the cigar is other that it's a slightly tweaked version of a 1926. Having talked to the higher ups in Holts, they don't even know what the makeup of the cigar is. Hope this helps.

Follow the link in one of the above posts. 10 packs and singles available.

I saw the 1o pack in the new catalog that I got in the mail yesterday and I said WTF? I apologize guys for giving out bad info. My bad! I'm just glad that they're now available outside of the sampler pack.

I got mine already. If anything is different about these, other than size, it would be that they are rolled looser than any other in the 1926 line. These also have many soft spots which I have never seen in any 1926 cigar, or 1964. The one I smoked had a huge soft spot. It did not seem to affect the smoking, it was a very tasty cigar. I think the looser rolling of these makes them smoke different.
