If your a single mother working 2 jobs and is trying to raise 4 kids; skip ahead to ~3:30 in the vid.

I asked this in chat a few days ago but thought this might make a nice discussion on the boards;
what do you guys think of what Jorge Padron says about the flavor of spice in a cigar?
I understand many of you like spice in a cigar (as do I) but according to Padron, spice and
strength is, and was not, a "positive attribute" in a well made cigar.

So, what do all of you amateurs think?
:D
...sentiments from days past maybe?

Maybe spice is just part of the complexity of the cigar, not to contradict Mr Padron, but whatever floats your boat. IMHO! :whistling:

That's like arguing over which is better; red wine or white, scotch or bourbon, chocolate or vanilla. Same with, say, a Padron '26 and an OpusX.

One is not better, but they are substantially different. It's possible to enjoy both on their own merits. I know I do..... :thumbs:

Cheers - B.B.S.

Thanks for sharing that. I've purchased cigars more than once after reading some of James Suckling's blogs. It was good to see him with the Padrons. They're the shit, and so his he. Here's to real 'down to earth' people (ching).

Edit: Oh yeah, completely agree with BBS. One day I might reach for PAM, the next I may prefer an Opus. Variety is the spice of life.
