Last Friday we had our first cigar and spirit tasting (pairing). We gave out a Punch Gran Puro and an Aurora (robusto) plus Dewar's 12, Aberfeldy 12 and Aberfeldy 21 year old single malts. The price was $25 for the entire package.

I am planning on doing more of these, probably every 2-3 weeks in our cigar loounge. I am curious to learn what sort of pairings you would liek to see? Be it cognacs, single malts, ports, etc. plus they type of (brand, flavor profile, strength) cigar as well.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I haven't had the Aberfeldy 21 yet. Any chance you'll do a review?

Ports are a favorite of mine especially in winter, even though I live in the desert. I don't know if you ever thought of doing a vertical tasting of some good cabernat or merlot or a syrah. We used to do that at a nice hotel out here but now that there is no smoking inside they stopped having those here, was nice because the hotel would also put out appetizers for the event so it was very nice .

Maybe you should smoke those Ashton extra Virgin Sungrown Illusions that only you seem to have...

slider, please don't use crappy cognacs for your tasting like VS or lower. I'd even like to see you avoid VSOPs. Unfortunately that leaves XO and higher which are expensive but they are definitely better.

Those look like a ton of fun. I'd be all over that if there was ever an event like that close to me.
