I was thinking of making mine a long term holder for aging some sticks?
Any comments on that?

I think I have the 1500 or something of that size
Id just need a Puck and A gauge.
Im not using it for anything else

I can't see why this would not work. The only thing that I thought of is you might want to open the lid once in a while. Not sure if the absolute air tight nature of a Pelicen is great for long term, I think you may want fresh air once in a while. Just a thought.

Agreed! Air-tight storage is good, but you must open it a few times a week to allow some exchange of air.

Tom, hudsonvalley, uses one. Biggest damn herf case I've seen! Give him a PM I'm sure he'll share some advice with you!

Mine works fine, only used it for a year or so, and open it about once a week to choose something.
