I can understand that. But the problem is that most people that get sport bikes don't have a clue how to ride them. Its just to easy to purchase them. The bike I ride is a 600 cc, and with the mods I have done to it, its probably pushing about 116 Horsepower. But you can now buy 1000 cc bikes that are pushing 180 hp right off the floor. WAY too much power.

They are amazing bikes that when treated right are a lot of fun. I only ride on the track now. No street riding anymore.

06' R6 has put up dyno numbers over 120hp at the wheel. Who needs a liter bike anymore!

Very nice Eric..... glad to see you are wearing the proper equiptment and are on the track...... not like the morons by me who insist on doing it on the street....

Like the sarge.... I am also a cruiser type..... 2002 HD Road King

I agree. They should have a graduated license system like a lot of other countries do. I can't count the number of times I've seen squids on brand new liter bikes who loved to show me how fast their bike is and how great it is at wheelies. Then, after they pass me, they make me slow down and wait for them in the curves... A week later the same bike is for sale with scratched and broken fairings.

I gave up street riding too. I haven't been able to get a track bike since I move around all the time for work and couldn't bring everything with me. Do you ride trackdays, WERA, another organization?

Edit: I forgot to say, looking good, way to get the bike over. Do you have any other pics of your bike?

Man I want a bike, also not into the sport bikes anymore, would love to get a new cruiser though. But first comes a new boat, just a little safer with the idiots that are out on the road.

hahah, now we're talking.

I haven't raced yet. Last year was my first full year of trackdays. I did about 10. I go to VIR mostly, and also have done 4 days at Jennings Florida. Looking to probably do Carolina Motorsports Park next year. A buddy of mine that I ride with wants to start racing this year. I'm not sure if he will do CCS or WERA, but he'll be out there.

Here are a couple more of the bike.

I have more to put up, but my upload site is screwed up for some reason. These will have to do.

That RC51 is so hot. I'm currently in the market for a CBR600, but someday I will have that RC51....some day..... :whistling:

Great pictures man! Keep 'em coming.

I only ride Harleys. 2003 Road Glide and a 2006 StreetRod. But I have respect for all those that ride.

Those are some killer photos. Who took them of you?

I used to have a 1994 FXLR with a highly Modified, by me, 89" motor that was pushing 110 HP. I used to be able to spank the shit out of a lot of those crotch rockets. One time I raced a Suzuki Hyabusa on the FWY and with my torque and riding style that dude could never pass me. That bike would pull high 11s in the quarter. That is smokin' for a daily rider Harley!

Now I just like to cruise. But I will always have enough motor work so I have enough power to get the F outta the way.

You will never catch me leaning a bike over like that but I do tend to scrape the floorboards a bit.

Keep the shiny side up!!

Nice pics.
I ride an '03 VFR800. No track days yet, but will probably go to road atlanta this year with one of my friends that goes every year. (he rides a ducati 998) I've only had knee down a couple of times, but then again, I've only ridden on the street, and when the knee hits, its time to back off...good thing they are several good roads around here, or I would have to be track only too, with a diff bike. i like the viffer though, good sound, comphy, different from anything else around here.

never ridden a pure cruiser (closest thing: st1300abs) but that doesnt matter. I ride mainly w/ a friend that has a magna 750 (or something)...doesnt matter what you ride, its how you ride, right?

good to see some fellow bikers :)
