Revisiting this thread as I'm nearing the end of our week here.  It's a family deal, so unfortunately not a whole lot of Whisky partaking for me.  We are visiting a distillery today, but not sure which one.  We may go up to the Black Isle beer brewery, as well, if there is time.  We are currently in Inverness for two nights.  Came from Edinburgh, through Stirling (William Wallace territory), overnighted in Oban, then up to the Isle of Sky for a day/night, back down and around Loch Ness, and into Inverness yesterday.  Today is more around Loch Ness, Fort Augustus and such.  Tomorrow back to Edinburgh.  There's still a lot there I want to see.  The Tattoo was friggin AMAZING. Everyone should see it at least once.
 
*EDIT* Whisky is distilled.  Beer is brewed.
