Richard Wright died of cancer today:

Richard Wright dead at 65

Fortunately, I got to see them perform when I was in high school back in '94. Still got the t-shirt, too (although it's pretty thin nowadays).

Bummer.

WOW ... *doesn't know what to say* I've always been a huge PF fan ... I know many of us here will lament the tragic loss of this legendary star ...

Wow as a HUGE Floyd fan this is very sad, he was an amazing artist. I also got to see them a few times and i will have to say that they were the very best shows i have everr been too. Sad sad day with this loss.
