Pipes made in China?

Does anyone have experience with a pipe made in China? I have only used old estate sale pipes and 1, never bought a new pipe and 2. never used one from China
 
Is the quality acceptable?

Like anything else made in China, buyer beware.

If you don't want to spend much, buy a MI corncob pipe.  Not only are they cheap, they smoke great!
 
Beware, as there are now Chinese corncob pipes.  I almost bought one by accident recently. 
 
From personal experience: they are crap! Don't bother!

Like stated above: buy a genuine Missouri Meerschaum from a reputable vendor.... You won't be sorry!

And Missouri Meetschaum has a lot of different styles and sizes.
I think the cheapest was $4 and the most expensive was about $19.
They even have a churchwarden style pipe
