And my daughter leaves for basic in June...Then goes active after she graduates HS in 09...Plus she wants to be airborne as well...So its all good...Outstanding really but that's just me lol...len

Not that this has much relevance, but my ex-wife was a paratrooper. I met her when we were stationed at Ft Bragg. I wonder what she's doing now... ???

Service: United States Army - 3 years Active, 20 years Reserve
Branch: Medical Service Corps, transferred to retired status in '95 with rank of LTC
Most Memorable Moment: Earning EFMB alongside soldiers half my age
Most Looking Forward to: July '09 when I start drawing retired pay!

As far as I know you just took over the senior "O" spot on the board but I spent 14 years on the enlisted side of the house too.

The senior NCO's I was privileged to serve with usually kept me out of serious trouble (especially when I was a butter bar). Without them ( and the other EM's) I never would have been able to last long enough to retire.

I know that I will never fill the seinor Officer slot but I think that I am the only Chaplian.

Army, 3 years down 17 to go.

Save for seniority, a tie perhaps. HighNTight is LTC.

Served on active duty in the U.S. Army 1980-1983

Worked with the U.S. Navy as a civilian from 1985 to 1993

I've been involved in non-profit activities in support of the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB Ca. for the last 15 years.

You're not. Dig around and see if you can find the other one(s) :)

Ahhh, you're right. I forgot he was promoted since he's been here. Good catch.

I don't wear my rank (or my uniform for that matter) anymore since I went on retired status, so as far as I'm concerned I hold no "senior" anything status. I gladly cede anything of that nature to those still wearing the uniform and serving.
