Popcorn for troops!

My son is selling popcorn, wreaths, etc for cub scouts and new this year is an option of donating $25 worth of popcorn to troops. You pay $25 and Trailsend ships the popcorn to the troops for their movie nights :thumbs: :thumbs:

I thought this is a great idea. Between now and November those of you wishing to participate should seek out you local cub scout.

If you would rather.... my son would be glad to be a recipient of your contribution for his sales as he gets credit for it and wants to beat the historical pack record of $1,300 worth of sales ever in the history of selling popcorn.

Last year he had the pack record for '06 with just over $1,000 placing third in historical sales. He was able to put a pie in the face of his scout master, assistant scout master, and den leader. he was ok till he got to his den leader as it was ME!!!!! He gathered the courage even with my threats of spanking him and..... pic to follow when I get to my desktop.


So irregardless to the my personal sacrifice , those of you without sons involved in scouts but yet want to give can PM me and I will be glad to send you my addy so you can contribute through us.

Wanted to post an update on my sons popcorn/wreath sales. Thanks to help from here my son was able to raise $225 worth of popcorn for our overseas troops. :thumbs:


His total sales was: $2,837 which was a Pack record. that means as his den leader this year I get another pie in the face. As the new assistant pack master I get a second one from him as well

He placed in the top 10 in sales for the district.
