Well I finally convinced the Fiance to sit with me while I have a smoke. She had a glass of wine, I had my cigar, we sat by the lake, it was awesome. It was windy and a little chilly (around 70 degrees, LOL) 
but it sure as hell beat being up north.
I think I was able to convince her because we were able to just sit and talk which we don't really do at her house much. The cigar was excellent. The wind complicated the burn a few times, but it was tolerable. The draw and flavor were perfect.
I look forward to the whole experience again. A perfect ending to Thanksgiving.
