Depends on the cell plan, but for mine, since it's a grandfathered plan from a few years back (no internet on phones back then), I get charged per kbs of data transfered. My gf's plan is more recent and she gets unlimited net access from her phone.

Sprint has the best coverage in our area and the best phones, IMHO. I don't travel outside of the state much and when I do, I don't wanna be gotten a hold of or don't want to get a hold of anyone. LMAO! On top of that, most everyone I call frequently is a Sprint user and all Sprint to Sprint calls are free, as are my nights and weekends. So, for me it's a good deal. I could probably get the same thing from another company, but why change when you're happy with the service you are getting.

You're absolutely right......Sprint service basically sucks here in the Metro NYC area. Verizon is by far the best in the area and offer the Treo 600 as well. They also offer the Samsung Pocket PC phoneMatt R said:

Generally I can get SBC to turn up ckts much quicker then Verizon. We aren't using Verizon anymore in the NYC area. We (MCI) installed several OC level circuits and are using our own cap now in NYC.
