As I type this my daughter is getting in her car to drive herself to university of kansas hospital for a kidney transplant. a young person died in kansas tonight and left thier organs for someone who would need them. so i would like to ask for prayers for that person who passed this evening and may allow my daughter to live. i would like also to ask for prayers for my daughter who will be on the operating table sometime early this morning with one shot at being able to live a normal life. she has to drive herself from junction city so i figure about 2-3 hrs before she gets there and they start prepping her for the surgery. with any luck I will be on a plane in the morning chances are i will not have any idea what the outcome is until i land and find the hospital. if one of the kansas city crew could pm me and maybey give me some info about distance from airport and hospital and such i would apreciate it.

Respectfully
Dale

Dale, best wishes to your daughter and your family. I'll say a prayer for you.

My thoughts are with you and yours Dale, and with a family somewhere who lost a loved one and is making something positive out of it.

Every things going to be fine. A friend of mine, a 60 yr old diabetic, recently went through the same thing. If she can do it your daughter can. All my best.

Doc.

Wow thats pretty heavy and I think I got problems. God bless her and you. Thank God for the donator. Prayer sent.

Prayers sent from one worried person to another. God bless the family who gave the generous gift of life to another.

More good thoughts coming your way.

Modern medicine is incredible. I hope all that can be and all that are willing to be are organ donors. The gift you can give someone else's family is immeasurable.

Once again, good vibes sent out there for all those involved.

Your little girl has many years of life to live in quality now that this person was thoughtful enough to have made her organs available. I hope all the Brothers here have made a choice, either to donate or not, and documented it. In CO, its on our driver's license. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your girl.
