The Green Monkey
Brap-brap
While I have yet to be faced with the situation, I was curious what the prevailing etiquette is regarding the proper and courteous disposal of butts when there isn't an ashtray around, like at a park or someplace similar.
I never toss my cigarette butts on the ground, so if there's no ashtray or garbage can around, I just twist the tobacco out and stick the filter in my pocket until I can dispose of it, but obviously a cigar is a little bit different--no filter to worry about, but likely a lot stinkier in the pocket and also a more distinct possibility of smoldering embers.
Since there's no filter involved, is the right thing to do to just step on it to make sure it's out and then grind it out into a tidy little mess and just leave it since it's biodegradable? Twist the filler out and put the wrapper in your pocket? Feed the whole thing to the nearest child?
Thanks...
