I needed some quick additional storage for some extra smokes and found a rectangular plastic box and lid (not "Tuperware" or "Rubbermaid") in the house.
I rigged up a humidifier with wet Oasis foam and 50/50 in a jar with holes in it's lid.
The box lid closes securely but definately not air tite.
Should that be a problem since we want air circulating in the box anyway?
I can certainly purchase a tite sealing Rubbermaid dealie if that's the way to go.
Wadaya think?

You should be fine for temporary storage. Almost all humidors are not air tight. Since you do have humidification, you should be good to go.
