I really loved Soupy Sales. I saw him a few years ago on the east side of NY and talked to him. He was still very funny and spry for his age.

O.K. There was a T.V. show that had the little kiddies draw on a clear plastic sheet you put over the screen.You traced what they were drawing at the same time on the T.V. Name that show. I forgot to put the plastic sheet on once. ouch my butt.

Now... Who remembers Miss Marty?

Hmmmm, was "Romper Room" a local production? I watched it every day when I was a kid, just hoping Miss Marty would say my name when she looked through her magic mirror. "I see Billy, and Megan, and Chip and, Angela, I see etc etc..."
I can't recall that I ever heard my name even though I really strived to be a good "Little Doobie".

I remember Romper Room and I was in NYC at that age so I don't think it was local but it may have been syndicated with different hosts in different cities.
