R.I.P. Hulk Hogan

Some great memories as a child growing up watching him and the WWF. I once sat front row at a match in my home town of him vs. sgt slaughter and Hulk gave me a point and a hell yea because of the sign I made for him. Alot of memories for sure!

Its hard to fathom what he did to/for professional wrestling sitting here in 2025. Before he came along its was a pretty seedy sport with blood and crazy stuff like barbed wire on the ropes etc. Jimmy Snuka took a razor blade to his forehead so many times it looked like a washboard. God I remember watching as a kid when Blackjack Mulligan would put the claw on a dudes head the TV would have a red X over it. It was watched mostly by the working man sitting around with a cold beer midday Saturday staring at a 20 in B&W from an Archie Bunker style chair. That is if there wasnt a match at the local NG Armory with folding metal chairs to sit in to attend. He came along and kids and women got into it and the seedier stuff was replaced with softer stuff like him telling kids to take their vitamins and it completely blew up.
