I just run the ethernet cable from the xbox to the cable modem, the ethernet cable didn't cost hardly anything at all. Not to mention, having it running via cable is a bit more reliable, and sometimes faster. I do have N wireless setup for my home, but I prefer to run cables for things like the 360.


I had RB6:LV2 pre-ordered, but cancelled my pre-order for cigar money.... if I want to play a FPS I just throw in COD4 anyway.
 
Okay, been playing the game. Is anyone else having slow frame-rate in the second act in the casinos?? I sure am...

Also, experiencing some bugs such as no audio when tangos fire at you, and no sound when my character reloads his mp5 or G36c...

Been hearing about the same problems going around. Sounds like they tried to rush it out without enough testing, even thought it has been postponed a couple of times. Kind of happy I cancelled my pre-order on it. :(
 
I got it also. Starting to play it as well. I'll let you know if I run across the same problems.
 
Yep. Mine is PS3. I've never taken it online, but I have to now. Vegas 2 is requiring a firmware upgrade before the game will play on my PS3.
 
So I beat the game for Xbox 360 today, it was awesome, but riddled with bugs the whole freakin' time through.

Anyone hear anything about Ubisoft responding to assist current owners with an "improved" copy??

COD4 is one of my favorite games. I play it all the time on my PS3. My other favorte games are Tiger Woods 08 and MLB The Show 08

Hmm, let's see...

Slow framerate, I would shoot at a tango, like 3-4 times in the head, body, etc. and he would'nt die. I also would reload and not hear any sound, I would not hear incoming enemy fire, towards the end of the game, a female was talking to my character via the comlink, yup...didn't hear ANY of it. All I heard was bishop saying, "Roger."

Pretty upset. But Im such a hardcore fan of the series, including the book of course, I played it through and will never ever say that the game sucked!!

I just hope that Ubisoft releases a "fixed" game soon...

LOL! :p Well, that sucks. I'm playing terrorist hunt, it's pretty well-made, so no complaints on that. I just went to the R6 forums...what a bunch of asshats...just perusing their posts, and some guy said the game stunk like "donkey sh*t mixed in with baby guts and etc. etc. etc..." then stated that he wouldn't even debase to using foul language to decry Ubisoft.

Don't even get me started on the guys in those forums, ugh. I'm a CoD4 fan, but the community for that game is enough to drive even the biggest fan away. I don't understand the fanbase that these games draw, but it seems to be getting lower than pond scum. ;)

I need to rent RB6:LV2 pretty soon, interested to see how it does for myself.
