So it's going to finally rain all day here in Cali. So I'm putting on a pot of pinto beans. I'll throw in a smoked sausage ring when they get done. Gonna fry some potatoes and warm up some canned spinach. I'm also going to make a batch of cornbread.

I'll smoke a ERDM rectangulares while watching some college basketball (Go Bruins). After the meal I think I'll smoke something I stashed away for a rainy day. '02 Don Carlos No 2 or a '98 AF short story (depends on how cold the temp is).
 
Mike enjoy it! It's still cold out east> So no smoking in the garage it's too cold even with the little space heater.
 
It's bluebird skies and a high of 57 here :) so there will be one burnt on the deck late this pm, hopefully after watching the Gators beat Kentucky, and will be followed by a grilling of filet mignons, asparagus, and insalata caprese.

Now i'm off to Walmart to buy a bigger cooler to hold more cigars, this damn cigar madness makes you do crazy things :blush:

Rain doesn't matter when you have covered decks....a very good thing here in the Pacific Northwest. It's overcast around here, but I'm about to head out on the deck with a PAN Principe and a fresh cup of black coffee. The wife has plans with her daughter today, so I'm going in to the office for a couple of hours to plow through some paperwork. When I get back, I think a Wild Turkey, neat, and an '01 SigVI and I are going to have a meaningful hour or so.... :cool:

A good smoke, hot pot of joe, and some comfort food is a fine way to wile away a rainy day.

Right now I'm in the same boat as Anthony so I'm jonesin' until the next HHH...maybe this week.
