You idiot. Two cops just came to my house at 10:20 PM. I didn't know who was banging on the door, so I ignored it. Then they started banging on my windows. Was about to get my gun out, and I get a call from the Arcadia Police Dept, telling me there are two cops who want to talk to me.

I don't know too many Officers who would open fire on a civilian in need of a welfare check, armed or not. All citizens are given the Constitutional right to possess firearms, so you go in with the expectation that some may be armed. Training and trigger control come into play, and as a military man you know this.


Not only that, but having to answer to your Captain to give the reasoning as to why you shot a civillian with no criminal history or history of violence on a welfare check in a nice upstanding neighborhood of Arcadia? Somehow I don't think they were calling the SWAT Team out to the house.


All in all, it was just a harmless joke between friends. The Police came to the house, checked on him, and left. Not only that, but Rod volunteers with the Arcadia Police Department, and knows quite a few of the personnel working there.
 
I've been struggling to find a way to call you an idiot without actually saying, "You are an idiot". Couldn't think of anything.
