I finally got the bands for the ISOM's I bought a month or so ago. Several of us split 2 boxes and we want to put them back on.

Any recommendations for gluing them back together and putting them back on the sticks?

Super Glue works...or a dab of Great Stuff!

just kidding.....

Use Pectin! <and 'search'>

did someone say perfecto? i like perfecto...

no i'm not a whore, not a whore!

Jeff - I hear liquid pectin works great. I've used the powder myself (just mix it with water)

Gorilla Glue works for me, just keep it off your fingers!

Okay so I tried the super glue. Unfortunately I was a little sloppy. I decided to smoke the cigar right then.....seeing as how I was somewhat permanently attached to it :whistling: The smell of burning flesh and burning super glue at the same time did make me ill so I am going to the doctor now.......maybe he can remove the cigar butt from my fingers?

Jeff, you seemingly forgot the first rule of superglueing: never hold the item to be glued or apply the glue with your bare hands. You should obviously have placed the band around the cigar, clamped it securely in a bench vise, and then used a plastic toothpick to apply the glue while simultaneously screwing the vise nice and tight to help the glue set.

And I was afraid I'd be the newbiest guy here!

If I could add one thing it would be to then drive roofing nails from each side of the band to allow the glue to set properly. You can remove the nails after the glue has cured. :D
