She is about 2 years old. Well mannered, someone trained her because she responds to commands. I am still baffled how a dog as lovely as this could be a stray!??

Maybe she bites!

Sometimes folks end up with more dog than they planned on.
Sometimes folks move and don't have room for a dog.
Sometimes folks realize they don't spend the right amount of quality time with their dog, and figure it'd be better off somewhere else (a bulls#!t reason, but I've seen it before).

...in any event, that's a beautiful dog..!! Kudos for giving a rescue dog a great home. She'll be loyal to you guys and a great animal to have around, to be sure.

As you know we have five little mutts that are family members..... :laugh:

My wife and I picked up our dog CaLynn (Kay-Lynn) from her Aunt's house as a stray. She is also a beautiful, well mannered animal. Some people unfortunately get a pet and then discover that it's more than they can handle. Thank goodness there's people out there like Putz to give them a good home.
