Size 6X60
Wrapper maduro
Origin Honduras
Accompanying drink
Coffee (strong with half/half & sugar)
I don't smell my cigars prelight so I have no information there.
The wrapper has a bitter leather taste
Cigar looks to be VERY well wrapped. No loose spots and the wrapper shows absolutely no signs of coming apart.
As the photo shows it comes partially wrapped in cedar
The 1st third.I light the foot and POW! Yuck!
Nasty bitter white pepper harshness. Which lasts for maybe 30 seconds and then just disappears like someone just flipped a switch.
The harshness literally just disappears and is replaced with a kind of leather taste.
Nice.
About 1 inch in I start getting a a very pleasant sweetness along with the leather.
Interesting.
I also get maybe an almond taste but it's not very strong
Leaves a very pleasant sweet tobacco/almond taste on the tongue.
Smokes very smooth unless you try to inhale the smoke. Trust me don't do it.
The smoke has a pleasant toasted smell. Like maybe almonds.
It's also kind of sweet smelling.
2nd 3rd.
Pretty the same as the 1st.
Still smoking smooth and still tastes of sweet leather and almonds.
Still smooth and bite free.
Last third
The harsh pepper kind of taste is back but it's still smokeable. A little less enjoyable than the 1st two thirds but I don't feel like I can't smoke it anymore.
And it's not smoking hot at all. It's just a kind of white pepper harshness.
The smell it left on my hands is decent. Not a nasty cigarette kind of smell but not completely pleasant either. I think A hand washing will be required.
The taste this cigar leaves in your mouth is a sweet tobacco taste.

What I didn't like
A bit harsh in the last 3rd.
Would I buy these again?
Yes I think so but I think I'd leave them in the humidor to season for a month or so before I smoked them.
