Not that there aren't plenty of other options around, but it was always a fun (and expensive) place to visit.

Rent just too expensive or no customers, due to prices?
As I understand it they had more and more pressure to leave over the past few years due to second hand smoke issues and the ever expanding smoking bans. They won’t even allow smoking on the patio now and their lease is up so bye, bye la casa. Sad.

I've smoked there several times. Always a fun experience. It was usually over crowded, but that made it interesting. The last 3-4 times I was in Lost Wages I didn't even make it there. The best experience I had is when Hef and his 3 Bunny's came for an autograph signing at the Playboy store a few doors down. Got to sit and smoke and watch that gala from the outside seating. More women fans than men LOL.

When I was there in June, there was a note that said they would be closing in September.

I bought a few sticks, but didn't sit and have a smoke because I couldn't sit on the patio and people watch.

Been there several times over the years. We always had fun in Vegas, but like lots of people....its very hard to justify the prices being asked these days. Sad to see it go, to be sure.

Met several CP'ers there over the years. Too bad, it was a nice place. Times are changing, and it seems all Vegas cares to cater to these days are international billionaires and those who have no value for money and blow $500 for a bottle of cheap booze at an over priced club. Vegas isn't my scene anymore, unfortunately... It's changed the for worse, and I see it continuing to implode upon itself, all because of the corporate whores that have made it what it is today.
